On March 10 2025, tropical cyclone Jude swept across Mozambique, leaving 150,000 victims reeling in its wake. Hardest hit were the provinces of Nampula and Zambezia. As a participating country in the Regional Emergency Preparedness and Access to Inclusive Recovery (REPAIR) program, Mozambique submitted a disbursement request for funds to support its national disaster response.
